Our founder Savannah has always been surrounded by words, as a writer, a lecturer, and a lifelong lover of romance novels.

But even while reading the most popular genre in the world, she often felt the weight of the stigma that romance wasn’t “serious enough.”

Where it all began…

She dreamed of creating a space where romance (even the spicy kind) could be celebrated without shame and of building a connected community based on a shared love of romance.

That dream became Sundae Kind of Love, a travelling bookshop built around a vintage ice cream cart, where every detail is designed to turn the ordinary act of buying a book into something joyful.
